Why Turkey is the Most Powerful Country?

Introduction

Turkey saw an example when the United States began the process of moving its embassy in Israel to occupy Jerusalem. Turkey broke off diplomatic relations with Israel. Turkey does not have nuclear weapons. But it is still one of the world's great powers. After all, what is the power of the Turkish nation?

Europe believes that Turkey will stop such a dark homeland. While for Turkey to stop them, Turkey wants to become a member of the UP Union, but its geography is the biggest obstacle. Because EU citizens can travel all over Europe without a visa. If Turkey becomes a member of the European Union, millions of migrants from Asia will be able to enter Europe easily every year. Therefore, despite Turkey's best efforts, the European Union has refused to make it a member. Economically, according to the World Bank, Turkey is the 17th largest economic power in the world with a GDP of 850 billion. Tourism is the backbone of the Turkish economy. Seven million tourists from all over the world come here every year. In addition, the automotive, electronics, and textile industries in Turkey have also developed significantly.

Turkey is even more important in the military arena. Turkey is the eighth-largest military power in the world, followed by Pakistan (13th), India (4th), and China (3rd). As a member of NATO, no country can directly harm Turkey's military interests. In doing so, it would also have to fight the Western military alliance, NATO. Turkey is the second-largest army in the NATO alliance after the United States, numbering 400,000. Turkey has 118 fighter jets. Turkey also manufactures F-16s with the help of the United States, and as a member of NATO, it will also get American F-35s that can fly off the radar. But it will also have to mend fences in Turkish-US relations.

Despite US pressure, Turkey is the only NATO member to buy a state-of-the-art missile defense system from Russia. Turkey has also gained vast political power due to its geography and importance in Islamic countries. When the United States recognized occupied Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan convened a meeting of Islamic countries and declared Jerusalem the capital of Palestine. Turkey's move won the hearts of Muslims.
